Garth Brooks has released a new album called Time Traveler, which is great news for all fans of Garth Brooks and, well, country music lovers (so long as you don’t believe that tongue-in-cheek internet rumor about him being a serial killer).
But there are a couple catches if you want to hear Brooks’ new music. First of all, it’ll only be available as part of a CD box set called The Limited Series, similar to what the artist did in 1998 and 2005.
Secondly, if you want to get your hands on the CD box set – which includes Time Traveler and six other discs, including Brooks’ three previous albums and a three-disc live recording – you’re going to have to head to your nearest Bass Pro Shops.
And since you might already have to make a special trip to Bass Pro Shops to grab the new album, you might as well make it a really special trip and travel to the most glorious Bass Pro Shops of all – the Bass Pro Shops pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee. Just imagine entering the hallowed gates of the tenth-largest pyramid in the world, purchasing a deluxe album from one of country music’s most esteemed artists.
Why not take a dip in that giant aquarium while you’re at it?
Garth Brooks Has Released Music at Specific Retailers Before
Garth-heads (is that what they’re called?) will certainly remember this is a gimmick the artist has employed before. Brooks released Gunslinger in 2016 exclusively to Target as part of another larger collection, and though that album was eventually available elsewhere, that apparently won’t be the case with Time Traveler.
That can only mean one thing: Get yourself to Bass Pro Shops.
